Americana Plaid
This charming valance is made from Navy & Burgundy Plaid
Homespun fabric
accented with a 3" strip of heavy weight tea-stained muslin
which features
my hand-drawn and hand-painted "Texas Star" design.
It measures 14" below the rod
(11" below the rod for the door valance)
and has a 1 3/4" ruffle above the rod, with a 1 1/2" rod pocket.
This valance features Lone Star Flag Stars that I have
hand-drawn and then hand-painted.
This design is painted in Dk. Navy, Berry and Cream
...the same colors used in Americana themed items...thus I call
it "Texicana".
The design has been spattered for that wonderful primitive
look.
SPECIAL NOTE~~~It is always a good idea to order all of the
curtains in a particular design you might need at one time.
Although I keep a sample of your fabric for future reference...I
may not always be able to match it perfectly if I have to use
fabric from a different bolt. If you are ordering a single
valance to make sure that it will match your home's decor...but
will probably need more...please let me know so that I can
reserve enough fabric for your entire purchase.
