This charming valance is made from Homespun fabric
accented with a
3" strip of heavy weight tea-stained muslin
which features my hand-drawn and hand-painted
"Peppermint Gingers" design.
It measures 14" below the rod (11" on the door
valance)
and has a 1 3/4" ruffle above the rod,
with a 1 1/2" rod pocket.
I have painted adorable gingerbread men & prim
peppermints on this valance
and then spattered the design for that wonderful
primitive look.
Each gingerbread man has a button tummy and a
burgundy crochet cotton tie.
This charming valance will be a wonderful addition
to your primitive or country home.
SPECIAL NOTE~~~It is always a good idea to order all
of the curtains in a particular design you might
need at one time. Although I keep a sample of your
fabric for future reference...I may not always be
able to match it perfectly if I have to use fabric
from a different bolt. If you are ordering a single
valance to make sure that it will match your home's
decor...but will probably need more...please let me
know so that I can reserve enough fabric for your
entire purchase.

100% cotton homespun valances feature a
3" tea-stained heavy weight muslin strip that has been
